My route to Professional Golf wasn’t what you’d call normal, rarely do you see a player come from my amateur background go on to win events across the world. The usual route of , represent your county, represent your country, turn Professional by qualifying for a Worldwide Tour, then continue the ascension all the way up doesn’t apply for me.
As a non-contracted player I have the freedom to pick the clubs that I believe work best for me. Over the years I have tinkered very little with my clubs and think its crucial to get used to the clubs you have once you trust they are right for you. I see players switching clubs every week, searching for a magic bullet, but once I have a club that feels right, I keep with it and it will take a lot to convince me to change it.
